Discover why so many guests return to this friendly motel away from the main road with quality Studio to 2 bedroom units

Lynn & Stephan invite you to discover the hidden secret which is Ascot Lodge & Gallery, away from the main road traffic but just a short walk from lovely Tahunanui Beach and local cafes, bars & restaurants. Relax in the comfort of well equipped units, all with full kitchens and most with fridge/freezers, some having their own private decks.
At the rear of the property is the lovely sunken garden area where guests often socialize and make use of the guest's barbeque located in this sheltered spot and yes the Wi-Fi is still available even at this furthest point on the property. There is also a guest's laundry with free use of the washing machine.
On site is the Ascot Encaustic Art Gallery, where you can discover the many faces of this unique art form and even have a demonstration from your host, Lynn, who offers lessons for those who would like to try it for themselves. Original encaustic artworks hang in all the units, so you can truly feel you are part of the renowned Nelson art scene, especially with another "must see", the World Of Wearable Arts Museum just around the road.
Ascot Lodge & Gallery is a great base for those wanting to explore the region or partake in other activities as just a few minutes away is Nelson Golf Club (where Stephan is a member) or maybe try the Cycle Trail heading out to Tasman, alternatively explore the area with the city centre a short drive away or an hour or so drive can have you to Kaiteriteri ready to head into the Abel Tasman National Park or even Nelson Lakes area.
