Nelson's only motel on the banks of the Maitai River one block to the city centre.
Robin & Alison welcome you and offer a great location in an attractive garden setting.

Stroll along the Matai River walkway in one direction to the Riverside Heated Pool & Gym, Suter Art Gallery (currently being refurbished), Queens Gardens and up the hill to the 'centre of NZ' with its magnificent views of the city and Tasman Bay. And a few minutes in the other direction is the i-Site/Tourist Info Center, bus drop of & pick up and Trafalgar Park. We are only a few blocks to the center of town with its many cafes, restaurants, and the iconic Saturday morning market. St Johns Church now being used for many concerts and live entertainment is also only minutes away. Our units are all spacious & self-contained with 1 or 2 bedrooms. All are smoke free & serviced daily providing clean comfortable accommodation.

Overlooking the Maitai River is our new Riverside Apartment & Matai Suite.
The Riverside Apartment has full kitchen, dinning room and terrace opening from the lounge - close enough to see the trout jumping. Upstairs is a queen bedroom, bathroom & toilet, there is a twin bedroom & second toilet downstairs.
The Maitai Suite, which can also interconnect with the apartment, has queen & single beds, bathroom & toilet, kitchenette & sun balcony overlooking the river where native birds abound.
Both provide exceptional accommodation in a superb setting for the discerning tourist or corporate traveler.
