Welcome to the Cycling Centre of New Zealand!  We have some of the best mountainbiking tracks in New Zealand suitable for beginners, intermediate, advanced and the highly charged adrenain junkie mountainbiker. Major rides include The Dun Mountain, the Heaphy Track (in winter) and the first stage of the new 'Great Taste Trail' around the region.

For either the recreational cycling enthusiast or the real hard core riders the region has over 50 tracks providing a smorgasbord of cycling options. The Great Taste Trail's first stage from Richmond to Mapua has a unique element of travel including a ferry ride from Rabbit Island to Mapua. For those keen to explore the region at a more leisurely pace, we have a number of cycling tour companies that provide guided or self-guided tours.
