Nelson Tasman is home to twenty five boutique wineries, dotted across the picturesque hills and plains of the region's wine growing country. Many offer cellar door tastings and an opportunity to meet the personalities behind some of the region’s internationally acclaimed wines.

The fruit of the region’s wines is making a big splash in the international wine world. Innovative and adventurous winemakers are crafting together flavours from a diverse array of grapes to stunning effect. Our speciality is in aromatic wines but the skills of highly experienced viticulturalists are stamping a mark on the world stage with Nelson Tasman positioning itself as the new speciality wine centre of New Zealand.

Many vineyards have cellar door tastings where you can meet the people behind the wines and learn about their art. An organised wine tour is highly recommended.
