The Nelson Tasman region is host to great shopping and electic markets that provide a range of organic, gluten free and local produce that will get your palate singing. Wander down on a Saturday to New Zealand's best local market in the middle of Nelson at Montgomery Square carpark. There's over 200 stalls and this is the place locals go to stock up on produce for the week, catchup with friends they haven't seen during the week, share a coffee and a natter before heading off to have fun outdoors.

If you happen to be here on the odd day its raining, hang around in town and partake in a coffee, brunch or late lunch in any one of great cafes or restaurants or visit the Richmond Shopping Mall only 15 minutes out of the central part of the city.
