Having performed at venues throughout NZ, including the Canterbury Folk Festival and the Hanmer Gospel Blues & Folk Festival, Raffills occasionally tours NZ and Australia, either solo or with the bluegrass/folk/blues-based Dirt Floor Alliance. This year he toured NZ with American slam champions Carrie Rudzinski and Ken Arkind.
The Live Poets evening kicks off with local musician Nick Feint and an open mic session follows. Our guest poet Mark Raffills takes the stage around 8:30 pm.
