STRATEGIC MARKETING PARTNERSHIPS
Nelson Tasman Tourism runs an annual programme of activity focusing on our international trade partners. This is done either independently of, or alongside Tourism New Zealand, as well as other New Zealand regions with which we share common themes, and visitor profiles. Often this activity will involve key tourism operators, and includes:
- Annual Exhibition at TRENZ along with Nelson Tasman tourism operators
- Annual hosting of the Nelson Tasman and Marlborough Trade Day: A one-day showcase of key Nelson Tasman and Marlborough tourism operators, held in Auckland each April
- Regular sales and training visits to trade in New Zealand, Australia, North America, UK/Europe and other markets
- A trade familiarisation programme designed to be enticing for staff, and business-friendly for management
